PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a digital camera small-sized and lightweight and facilitate charging to a secondary battery, connection to various external devices and image data exchange between memory cards. SOLUTION: The stand 3 is provided with an A/V output connector 42, a DC power input connector 43, a USB connector 44, a charging circuit 71, a card reader 75 and a data processing circuit 74. When the digital camera 2 is mounted on the stand 3 and a connector 35 is connected to a connection terminal 36, the charging circuit 71 is connected to a battery 30 to carry out charging. A communication circuit 67 for a personal computer makes data communication with a personal computer via the USB connector 44. An A/V output circuit 69 outputs a composite signal to a monitor or the like via the A/V output connector 42. The data processing circuit 74 exchange data between a memory card 16 of the digital camera 2 and a memory 37 of the stand 3.
