PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a highly reliable phosphor screen and make a transfer process more efficient in forming of a phosphor screen by a transfer method. SOLUTION: In forming a phosphor screen on a panel 80 by the transfer method, the panel 80 is overlapped with a transfer film 2 having at least an adhesive layer and a component element layer making up a component element of the phosphor screen, the transfer film 2 is heated and pressure bonded on the panel while being turned on a transfer roller 5, and the component element layer is made transferred on the panel 80.
