PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-grade cathode-ray tube enabling to control slit width uniform without changing the shape of an electrode base body. SOLUTION: With the manufacturing device of the color selection electrode for the cathode-ray tube, in which a color selection electrode 9 is assembled by mounting and fixing an electrode base body 19 made of a metal thin plate having a plurality of transmitting holes on a first support member 11 of a frame 15 composed of a pair of the fist support members 11 opposing each other with a given curvature and a pair of second support members 13 with elasticity connection the pair of the first support members together, a top metal rigid body 31 of a top and a bottom metal rigid bodies adding tensility to the electrode base body by evenly crimping sides of the first support members 11 of the electrode base body is provided with a crimp 37 with a bent side face shape equipped on the crimping side of the electrode base body 19.
