PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EL display device causing no malfunction such as short-circuiting of transparent electrodes while being inexpensive in comparison with a conventional EL display device. SOLUTION: This EL display device has a substrate, an electrode layer formed on this substrate, a luminescent layer formed on this electrode layer, the transparent electrodes formed in pattern on this luminescent layer, and a resin BM formed between the transparent electrodes.
