DIMMER DEVICE OF BACK LIGHT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem wherein the maximum luminance is low and response is slow by a burst dimmer method when dynamic luminance change of the back light is carried out. SOLUTION: A dimmer circuit responds to two independent control inputs. A wide area is dimmed by burst dimming in the first control, and luminance responds at a high speed by current dimming in the second control. Static dimming with the maximum value at the time when dynamic luminance change =±0% is actuated with a burst duty of 100%.
