PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening roof capable of sufficiently securing moisture to be supplied to plants, and easy in maintenance and control for cultivating various plants and crops on a roof upper surface. SOLUTION: Roof plate materials A comprising a plurality of rising parts 2, 2, etc., in parallel at a proper interval in a bottom surface part 1 are laid on a sheathing part 14, and a cultivating layer 10 is arranged in the bottom surface part 1. The installing edge 4 is formed from the outer edge of one side rising part 2 of the roof plate materials A. The installing edge 4 is fixed to the sheathing part 14. The other side rising part 2 of the next positional roof plate material A adjacent to the roof plate material A is superposed on the one side rising part 2 of the front positional roof plate material A to fix the mutual both rising parts 2 and 2 put in a superposed state.
