PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontally-sliding screen in which an operating style is not made to collide with a side frame strongly while also increasing the tension of a wire. SOLUTION: A net 11 expanded and contracted in an accordion type is installed into a frame body 12 in an openable and closeable manner and a horizontally sliding manner, the base end of the net 11 is fixed onto the frame body 12 and the operating style 13 for open-close working slid along the frame body 12 is mounted at the front end of the net 11. A wire 14a (to 14d) in which one tip is fixed onto the frame body 12 on the base-end side of the net 11, is inserted into the net 11, and guided into the operating style 13 by a guide member 17 secured to the operating style 13, and a weight 18 is suspended at the other tip of the wire 14a (to 14d) in the operating style 13.
