PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting structure which allows stable connection between two members with good working efficiency. SOLUTION: The connecting structure is formed of a connecting rod 1 provided for a first segment Sa and a connector 2 provided for a second segment Sb, for holding the connecting rod 1. The connector 2 is comprised of a passage 4 which allows insertion of the connecting rod 1 therein, and a projection 12 arranged at an end of the passage 4. The connecting rod 1 has a notch 8 formed therein in a deformable manner, i.e., in an expandable/contractive manner. The connecting rod 1 has a holding member 10 at its front end 1d for holding the connecting rod 1 in a contracted state. When the connecting rod 1 is inserted into the passage 4, the holding member 10 is deflected by the projection 12, whereby holding of the connecting rod 1 by the holding member 10 is canceled.
