PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of having no environmental contamination without containing poisonous material such as hexavalent chromium. SOLUTION: A ball bearing is comprised of an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2, a plurality of balls 3 rotatably arranged between both the rings 1 and 2, and a shielded plate 5 installed in the outer ring and lain between both the rings 1 and 2. The shielded plate 5 is manufactured from a metal plate having electric zinc plating on a cold rolled steel plate made of aluminum killed steel with 3 mm of thickness. Further, a rubber seal unit 6 having a core metal 7 and a rubber portion 8 firmly fixed in the core metal 7 can be substituted for the shielded plate 5. |
