PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved instrument 20 of a general type instrument. SOLUTION: This instrument 20 is provided with wells 28a and 28b for storing batteries 75, an opening part 78 exposing a first connector 74 to the wells 28a and 28b, and a boss 76 adjoining to the opening part 78. The boss 76 prevents wrong terminals of the batteries 75 from being engaged with the first connector 74, when the batteries 75 are inserted into the wrong direction to the wells 28a and 28b. The second connector 80 includes a base part 81, a first leg part 82 elastically connected to the base part and extending from the base part, a second leg part 84 elastically connected to the first leg part 82 and extending from the first leg part, and a third leg part 86 elastically connected to the second leg part 84 and extending from the second leg part to the first leg part 82. |
