PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound volume adjustment method for an audio device, which easily obtains a sound output having a desired sound volume independently of a signal source device. SOLUTION: An actual set value Vx of an electronic volume is determined by adding a user set value V0 set as a set value of the electronic volume by a user and an actual adjustment value C of each signal source in the unit of dB. The actual adjustment value corresponding to each signal source is calculated on the basis of a temporary adjustment value A which the user designates for each signal source device. When the temporary adjustment value A corresponding to a pertinent signal source is a maximum value B of all the temporary adjustment values, the actual adjustment value C is set to 0 dB, and the actual set value Vx of the electronic volume is set to the same value as the user set value V0. When the temporary adjustment value A corresponding to the selected signal source is not the maximum value B of all the temporary adjustment values, the actual adjustment value is set to a value smaller than 0 dB, and the actual set value Vx of the electronic volume is set to a value smaller than the user set value V0. |
