PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downsized starter for power plant which can be easily installed in a place with a small area of installation and in which safe operation can be implemented with enhanced operation efficiency. SOLUTION: In the starter for power plant, an initial exciter 20 is used for both of a plurality of systems A1 and B1 , and is provided with exciting means 21, 22, 23, 25a1 , and 25b1 used for exciting field windings 24a and 24b. |
