PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent traffic of a transmission medium from being much increased due to replies to effective requests even when a plurality of nodes make the effective requests by broadcast communication in a short time. SOLUTION: In a contention type communication system where a plurality of nodes 3[1]-3[8] mutually transmit/receive data through a shared transmission medium, each node makes a reply to the other nodes 3 by broadcast communication. That is, when receiving requests from the other nodes 3 by the broadcast communication for a reply transmission period repetitively counted by a reply transmission period timer Tr, each node 3 makes a reply to the nodes having sent their requests by one broadcast communication. |
