PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register an image having a plurality of inputted pages by document which is desired by a user. SOLUTION: In a document filing device, at image input part 1 successively reads the images of a plurality of originals and inputs them when the reading of the originals are indicated, a slip identifying part 2 identifies whether the images of the inputted pages are the ones which comprise a pre-registered slip image (a specified image) or not and a document configuration generating part 3 recognizes that the image of the page which is identified to be the image comprising the slip image is the break of the document and generates the configuration of the document so as to permit the images of the inputted pages to be registered by document by a document register part 5. A document quantity counting part 4 counts the quantities of the configured documents (the images to be registered as the respective documents) respectively and the document register part 5 registers the respective documents (images) constituted by the document configuration generating part 3 respectively as one kind of document data. |
