PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely construct a network environment capable of acquiring and managing information sufficient for the management of a printer in a proper timing without imposing any load to the traffic of a network. SOLUTION: A CPU 301 detects a network printer operating on an LAN 200, and detects the number of processing of data processed within a fixed time by the detected network printer, and judges the use frequency of each network printer by analyzing the detected number of processing, and changes a timing to acquire the state of the network printer according to the level of the judged use frequency. |
