PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting mirror that is placed in a way of not cutting off the view of a user onto data in a data presentation device. SOLUTION: The data presentation device 10 is provided at least with a data placing plate 11 on which data 12 such as a picture and writing original or a real thing are placed, a reflecting mirror 33 places above the data placing plate, and a video camera 40 that is fitted near a depth corner wherein a rear face 11c and a side face 11d (or 11e) of the data placing plate cross each other and captures an image light of the data reflected by the reflecting mirror. In this device 10, the optical axis of the reflecting mirror to the picture and writing original is set nearly perpendicularly to the placing face of the picture and writing original to be placed on the data placing plate and the optical axis of the reflecting mirror to the picture and writing original is shifted by a prescribed amount toward the rear face or the depth corner of the data placing plate from a center point 'O' of the picture and writing original 12G.
