PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device by which the sticking of oil to a recording medium and the soiling of the inside of a device due to the leakage of the oil from the end part of a fixing belt are prevented without causing the complication of the constitution of the device and the increase of the cost and an image forming device using it. SOLUTION: In this fixing device which is provided with a heating member and a pressing member which are disposed so as to come into press-contact with each other and at least either of which is constituted of a belt-shaped member, a belt guide member freely rotatably supporting both end parts of the belt-shaped member out of the heating member and the pressing member, a press-contact member disposed at the inside of the belt-shaped member and to bring the belt-shaped member into press-contact with the surface of the other member and an oil supply member to supply the inner surface of the belt-shaped member with the oil and by which fixing is performed by passing the recording medium carrying an unfixed toner image through a nip part formed between the heating member and the pressing member, an oil leakage prevention means to prevent the leakage of the oil is provided at least either of the outer peripheral surface of the belt guide member and the inner peripheral surface of the belt-shaped member.
