PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, inexpensive and highly reliable optical fiber module which provides a high degree of freedom to motherboard design. SOLUTION: The optical fiber module composed of a PCB(print circuit board) 30, an upper frame 10 and a lower frame 20, together with a mother board 60, passes through a mother opening part 61 and the opening part 21 of the lower frame, and is fixed with a tapping screw 70 at the opening part 11 of the upper frame. The electric connection between the optical fiber module and the motherboard 60 is given through a PCB connector 32 and a mother connector 62. The optical fiber module is provide with a cover which covers PCB 30.
