The seat, comprising a padded base (2) with a frame formed by two side members (10), a rear cross-member (11) and a support, and a back (3) with side members (13) connected to the base by pivot mechanisms (5, 6) with a connecting bar (15), has the support (17) made to deform from the inertia of a seated passenger in the event of a rear impact. This causes the support to interact with with the eccentric middle section (15b) of the bar (15), preventing the latter from moving into the unlocked position. The support and two child seat anchoring points (20) are made from metal rod in an inverted U-shape, welded to the seat's rear crossmember (11). |
