The present invention provides pharmaceutical compositions including: a combination of a compound of the formula (I) wherein R<1> is C1-C6 alkyl and R<2> is independently -H or -OH, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof; and a phorbol compound. The present invention also provides for these and other compositions and their use for the treatment of established cancers or tumors.
