PURPOSE: A composition for removing and preventing frost is provided, to remove the frost formed on glass and to prevent the generation of frost by spraying the composition in advance. CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises an alcohol selected from the group consisting of ethanol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, isopropanol, propylene glycol and their mixtures. Also the composition comprises an alcohol selected from the group consisting of ethanol, ethylene glycol, diethylene glycol, isopropanol, propylene glycol and their mixtures; and 0.01-95 vol% of methanol. Optionally the composition comprises further 1-5 vol% of a water-soluble water repellent silicone oil comprising hydroxydimethylsiloxane; and/or 0.1-1.0 vol% of a cationic surfactant comprising cetyltrimethylammonium chloride. |
