PURPOSE: An electronic menu board system is provided to change different character sets of characters output in a food menu display or to output a corresponding voice in a selected language if a foreigner selects a language so that the foreigners can easily understand the kind, characteristics, taste, eating method or history of a specific food. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a central controller(20), an operation program(21), and a RAM(22). In a case that a language selection or a food order data is input via a switch(23B), a switch interface(23A) transmits the input data to the central controller(20). The central controller(20) transmits data to an exclusive computer or receives processed data from the exclusive computer via an RF(Radio Frequency) module(26B) if it is necessary to process the input data in the exclusive computer for displaying the input data written in a corresponding foreign language. The central controller(20) outputs the processed data to the display(25B) via a display interface(25A) or to a speaker(24B) via a voice signal interface(24A).
