PURPOSE: A projection lens unit for projector is provided to prevent damage or distortion of mirror through the uniform supporting and protecting of the mirror. CONSTITUTION: A projection lens unit comprises a back group hard packing where a projection lens for incidence of light is installed; a front group hard packing where a projection lens for expanding and projecting the light passed through the back group hard packing, onto a predetermined screen, is installed; a hard packing holder(31) for supporting the front group hard packing and the back group hard packing; a mirror(35) supported, through a support member(40), at a mirror mounting portion formed at the hard packing holder, which reflects the light incident from the back group hard packing to the front group hard packing; and a cover member(36) coupled to the mirror mounting portion in such a manner that the cover member is attachable/separable to/from the mirror mounting portion, wherein the cover member keeps the mirror within the mirror mounting portion. |
