New cosmetic or dermatological preparations (I) contain an active agent combination of: (A) 3-(4-hydroxyphenyl)-2-aminopropionic acid O-sulfate ester, 3-(3-hydroxyphenyl)-2-aminopropionic acid O-sulfate ester (tyrosine-O-sulfate ester), a corresponding sulfonic acid or phosphate ester or their derivatives (optionally in a vegetable or animal extract); and (B) alpha -lipoic acid.
