PURPOSE: A parking control system using a radio frequency card and a method for arranging a radio frequency card reader are provided to confirm a parking area and a parking position by using a radio frequency card as a car/number plate recognition device. CONSTITUTION: An entrance control device for an entry car(10) is formed with a full state indicating lamp(11), an entry car sensor portion(12), and an entry car interception portion(13). A parking management portion(20) is formed with an alarm lamp(21), an electric board(22), a parking induction lamp(23), and an indoor alarm lamp(24). An entrance control device for an exit car(30) is formed with a departing car induction lamp(31), a departing car sensor portion(32), and a fare adjustment office(33). A plurality of car/number plate recognition devices(2,2',2'') are installed at the entrance control device for an entry car(10) for an entry car, the parking management portion(20), and the entrance control device for an exit car(30), respectively. A main processing device(1) is connected with the entrance control device(10) for an entry car, the parking management portion(20), the entrance control device for an exit car(30), and a parking position identification device(40).
