<p>The present invention relates to parenteral compositions and methods for inhibiting bone resorption, stimulating bone formation and/or treating or preventing elevated blood cholesterol levels in a mammal while counteracting potential local irritation at injection sites. The compositions useful herein comprise the combination of a pharmaceutically effective amount of a HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor or a pharmaceutically-acceptable salt thereof and a pharmaceutically effective amount of a squalene synthase inhibitor.</p> |
