PURPOSE: A system for providing customized information according to the position grasp of a mobile communication terminal user and a method therefor are provided to receive a customized information menu for the case that the mobile communication terminal user wants to use an ARS(Automatic Response System) and a voice recognition device, retrieve service customized information on the basis of a grasped position and a current connection time, and offer retrieved customized information. CONSTITUTION: A customized information DB(140) stores a classification code, a name, position information, connection information, and service information of a customized information association company. A position and subscriber information detecting module(124) receives position registration data and subscriber information of a mobile communication terminal from a subscriber information processing device of an exchange managed by a mobile phone company, and stores the received position registration data and subscriber information in an internal storing device. An ARS subsystem(121) provides a guiding message including a selection menu as a voice, receives data retrieved from the customized information DB(140), converts the received data into a voice, and transmits the voice to the mobile communication terminal. If a customized information user transmits selection information as a voice according to the guiding message of the ARS subsystem(121), a voice recognition module(122) recognizes voice information and converts recognized voice information into corresponding digital data. A database retrieving module(123) receives selection information data from the voice recognition module(122), and receives the position registration data and subscriber information of the customized information user from the position and subscriber information detecting module(124). The database retrieving module(123) retrieves and extracts customized information corresponding to the selection information data, the position registration data, subscriber information, a current connection time of the customized information user, and transmits extracted customized information to the ARS subsystem(121). A control module(125) transmits signals for controlling an operation sequence of the position and subscriber information detecting module(124), the ARS subsystem(121), the voice recognition module(122), and the database retrieving module(123). |
