PURPOSE: A screen keyboard construction and using method is provided to enable a user to set an initial condition of a word or a sentence at a screen keyboard connected to a character database and to select one among the searched words or sentences satisfying the initial condition for inputting and displaying a sentence or a word at a word processor. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of executing an assistance character input program having a screen keyboard type interface(401), selecting a language via a language selection button(402), displaying characters in an input character display window by selecting characters via a left button of a mouse for using the characters as an initial condition or directly inputting the characters at a word processor(403), in a case that the user wants to search for a desired phrase or word based on the input characters, selecting one among plural search modes by using the left button of the mouse(404), searching for a word or a phrase, satisfying the initial condition, in a character database and displaying the searched word or phrase on a window(405). When the user selects one among the displayed word or phrase(406), the process converts the selected word or phrase into ASCII codes and transmits the converted ASCII codes to a word processor(407), and displays the word or the phrase, corresponding to the converted ASCII codes, at a cursor in the word processor by using a get read function(408), then registers the selected word or phrase with the initial condition at a user definition database if the user wants to do(412), and deletes the registered word or phrase with the initial condition from the user definition database if the user wants to do(413).
