DEFLECTION YOKE FOR CATHODE RAY TUBE

PURPOSE: A deflection yoke for a cathode ray tube is provided to improve accuracy of a correcting process and image quality by obtaining a control margin of east and west distortion of pin cushion type distortion. CONSTITUTION: A deflection yoke(2) is formed with a rectangular separator(4), a horizontal deflection coil(6), a vertical deflection coil(8), a rectangular ferrite core(10), and a terminal board(12). The horizontal deflection coil(6) and the vertical deflection coil(8) are installed at the inside and the outside of the separator(4). The rectangular ferrite core(10) is fixed to the outside of the vertical deflection coil(8). The terminal board(12) is used for connecting the horizontal deflection coil(6) and the vertical deflection coil(8) with an external circuit. The horizontal deflection coil(6) and the vertical deflection coil(8) are insulated by the separator(4). The horizontal deflection coil(6) is used for generating a magnetic field of a pin cushion type to deflect electron beams toward a vertical direction. The vertical deflection coil(8) is used for generating the magnetic field of a barrel type to deflect the electron beams toward a horizontal direction.
