PURPOSE: A method for displaying a character is provided to display the character with various atmosphere by combining the character and an animation according to an operation mode and setting the character. CONSTITUTION: Various characters set according to an operation mode are stored in a flash memory. An animation combined with the characters is stored in the flash memory. The character is set according to the operation mode, and the animation combined with the character is set according to a season and a time. When a random operation mode is executed, the corresponding character and the animation set in a time zone of a current season are combined for displaying the character on a screen.
