<p>An image processor in which the motion vector of a moving object can be detected by detecting a mixing ratio indicative of the rate of mixture with an image or by taking account of a region mixed with the image. A weighted frame difference operating section (3423) calculates a weighted difference. A motion compensating section (3424) and a correlation value operating section (3427) operate correlation between an interesting block including each interesting pixel of weighted difference image data and the corresponding block of weighted difference image data of an adjacent frame. A maximum value deciding section (3428) detects at least any one of a weight and a motion vector where correlation between the weighted difference image data is maximized. The invention is applicable to a signal processor processing an image.</p> |
