<p>A non-mineral aggregate of homogenized, inert, mineralized plastics is produced by wetting agglomerated plastic fractions with a latent hydraulic mineralizing liquid and storing to achieve mineralization. A non-mineral aggregate of homogenized, inert, mineralized plastics is produced by agglomerating sorted or mixed plastic fractions in commercial agglomerating mills, wetting all the agglomerate grain surfaces with a mineralizing liquid of latent hydraulic mineral material, storing and mineralizing the material and utilizing the mineralized agglomerate immediately (wet) or after intermediate storage (various moisture contents down to dryness). Preferred Features: The starting material, especially mixed plastics, is supplied in a well mixed, plastic condition. The mineralizing liquid comprises an aqueous solution containing waterglass, filter ash, limestone powder, clay, marl, cement and/or lime. The agglomerates may be subjected to combined mineralization, storage and fireproofing by simultaneously sprinkling it with the mineralizing liquid and fire extinguishing agent in a silo.</p> |
