PURPOSE: To provide a power source for driving a magnetron excellent in stability against source environment change such as noise and instantaneous power failure. CONSTITUTION: With a zero voltage detection means 6 for detecting a zero voltage of a commercial power source 1, timing of the zero voltage is predicted, and over voltage and over current due to zero point deviation can be prevented by receiving inputs from the zero voltage detection means 6 for a certain length of time before and after the prediction.
