A pluggable device for an electronic housing (4), includes a cooperating plug (6) provided with a collar (26) and in which a boring (32) through the plug floor (12) provides an air transmissive connection of the electronic housing cavity (8) with external air (10). The boring (32) extends at least partly through the plug collar (16) and opens out into an external surface (22) of the plug collar, an electronic housing cavity (8) is joined to the outer surface (22) or to the outer air (10). An air-transmissive waterproof cover (34) is provided at the boring. An Independent claim is given for an electronic housing with a pluggable device.
