Electronic circuit comprises: a controller (110, 120) for processing a processor task; an energy determination device (150) for determination of the energy available for the controller; and a control arrangement (130-150) for controlling the controller dependent on the energy available for use by it. An Independent claim is made for a method for controlling an electronic circuit with the aim of limiting its energy use.
