PURPOSE: An electronic rough map service method and an apparatus therefor are provided to transmit a rough map retrieved through the Internet to a mobile phone or a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) of a client. CONSTITUTION: A rough service server(130) provides each member store code to registered member stores, and informs the member store codes and member store names to clients connected using a plurality of client terminals(100-102). If the application of the rough map and a telephone number through the client terminal are received, the rough service server(130) transmits the rough map issued from a corresponding member store to the client terminal having the telephone number, and transmits a rough map issue acknowledgement message to the member store as an electronic visiting card type. A plurality of member store terminals(121) connect to the rough service server(130) for receiving the rough map issue acknowledgement message from the rough service server(130). |
