<p>A joint for high pressure fluid having a long lifetime in which high pressure slurry and wear at the coupling part can be dealt with easily. The joint comprises a pipe (11) having an inverse external thread (11c) in the vicinity of the forward end, a bush (13) being screwed over the inverse thread, a cap nut (12) having a large diameter hole allowing intrusion of the bush on the forward end side and a thin diameter hole for inserting the pipe on the base end side, a block (14) having an internally threaded hole (15) for screwing the cap nut, a duct (16) formed in that block, a washer (18) of soft member being fitted in a containing space (17) at the end part of the duct, a ring (20) being screwed into the internally threaded hole (15), and a polygonal hole (20b) made in the ring (20) wherein the forward end part (11b) of the pipe, passed through the cap nut and abutting against the washer at the forward end face thereof, is held in the polygonal hole (20b).</p> |
