<p>A method and an apparatus for setting up a connection in telecommunications network by means of a call back function of a voice mail service and a voice mail system provided with a call back function in telecommunications network. It is characteristic of the invention that the voice mail service is implemented with a voice mail application, which is integrated in the IN network's IP device (6), when in order to set up a connection from the voice mail service user's or the subscriber B's (2) line to the message sender's or the subscriber A's (1) line, first a connection is set up from the subscriber B's line to the voice mail application via the IN network's IP device (6), with the IP application of which the connecting control is temporarily transferable to the voice mail application (91), when via the IN network's SSP (5) a logic INAP connection between the SCP (4) and the IP device (6) is set up. Thus, the connecting based on caller identification by means of a call back function is enabled from the subscriber B's line to the subscriber A's line at the same time as the unnecessary connection from the SSP to both the IP device and voice mail application may be disconnected.</p> |
