One or each of the steam producer tubes (22) has a vertically medium-flowed (W) downcomer piece (34) and in the same surface downstream has a fitted medium-flowed riser piece (36) as vertical run. The downcomer (34) of the tube (22) lies behind the associated riser (36) viewed in the heating gas flow sense (x) in heating channel (6), the downcomer (34) connected to the associated riser (36) by transfer piece (38). One or each tube (22) forks into a number of parallel risers (36) downstream of the associated downcomer (34). Risers and downcomers are relatively arranged in channel (6) so that a downcomer set far back in the flow sense (x) associates with a riser (36) lying comparatively further forward in the flow (x).
