<p>A variable polyhedron form used for controlling the deformation of a tissue under fixing in manufacturing a biological tissue specimen, wherein the side faces forming the form are hinged to each other so that the number of the side faces used for the form and the angle formed by the side faces can be adjusted and that the shape of the space surrounded by the form can be varied according to the shape of the tissue to be fixed, since the mold is formed in comb shape and has support faces with a large number of holes, fixative can be penetrated easily into the material of the form and the fixing can be performed satisfactorily, and the specimen after fixing has a bottom face of flat polygon and rectangular side faces, whereby the shape allows a slice parallel with a cut end face and having a specified thickness to be easily manufactured and allows the entire inspected cut end face to be observed with rather less number of specimens.</p> |
