BUYER MANAGED ORDER TRANSMITTING SYSTEM AND METHOD

A method for transmitting an order is provided. The method includes generating respective ordering data for a plurality of Buyers (12a-12d). The ordering data is represented as electronic signals and identifies the respective Buyer (12a-12d) and an item. The ordering data is transmitted from the Buyers (12a-12d) to a common computing device (16). One of a plurality of Vendors (14a-14h) is identified as a function of the Buyer (12a-12d) and the item. The order is generated for the Vendor (14a-14h). The order identifies the Buyer (12a-12d), the Vendor (14a-14h), and a quantity. The order is transmited from the common computing device (16) to the Vendor (14a-14h).
