The present invention is directed to a method and apparatus for treating goods, such as for example, fumigating and re-cooling perishable goods, such as fruit, using a tarp and floor seal. The apparatus encloses goods on a surface and includes a canopy (34) that is substantially impermeable to flowable materials, such as gas, liquid, or a combination thereof; an upper perimeter (12)for supporting an upper portion of the canopy (34); a lower perimeter (14) for supporting a lower portion of the canopy (34), the lower perimeter (14) to be placed in proximity to the surface; a support structure (1, 16) for supporting the upper perimeter (12) and lower perimeters (14); and a gasket (32) in communication with the lower perimeter (14), wherein the gasket (32) is deformable to substantially seal the chamber (10) by compressing the gasket (32) against the surface. The apparatus may also include an intermediate support structure (18) for providing support to the canopy and a conduit (44,52) in communication with the chamber (10) to supply cool air to the chamber.
