WASHING AND DRYING MACHINE

PURPOSE: To realize a washing and drying machine capable of controlling a series of washing, rinsing and drying processes with high reliability by improving a heat exchanging performance of a heat exchanger to increase the dehumidifying rate and improving the drying performance to shorten the drying time and to reduce the indoor dew condensation. CONSTITUTION: An outer tub 3 elastically suspended and supported in an equipment body 1 supports an inner tub 4 having the center axis of the rotation thereof in the vertical direction freely to turn. A rotary blade 6 is provided in the inner bottom part of the inner tub 4 freely to turn, and the inner tub 4 or the rotary blade 6 is driven by a motor 10 to circulate the warm air to be blown into the inner tub 4 in a warm air circulation passage 35 having the heat exchanger 32 to be cooled by at least one cooling means. A control device 38 controls each process of washing, rinsing, spin-drying and drying. The cooling means is formed of a water supply valve 31 and a cooling water hose 33 for supplying the water to cool the warm air inside of the heat exchanger 32 and a cooling blower 34 for blowing the water to cool the outer wall of the heat exchanger 32.
