摘要 PURPOSE: A standby loading method in an upper level processor of a switch is provided to perform a stopped standby loading process by recovering a state before a dual-down according to processor state information or disk state information stored in a memory unit in case that a progressed standby loading is stopped according as the dual-down is generated in a duplex upper level processor. CONSTITUTION: A PL(Program Loader) block transmits a standby loading execution command to an OS(Operating System) block through an OS primitive and performs a standby loading(S31). The OS block and the PL block load a new packet stored in a standby directory of a duplex disk according to the control of an SSL(System Loader) block, the OS blocks of a duplex OMP(Operation and Maintenance Processor) store processor state information of OMPs in memory units(S32). While the standby loading process is progressed, the OS blocks of the duplex OMP judge whether the processor state of the OMPs is changed(S33). If the processor state is changed, the OS blocks store changed state information in the memory units for updating processor state information(S34). While the standby loading process is progressed, the OS blocks judge whether a dual-down is generated in the duplex OMP(S35). If the dual-down is generated in the duplex OMP and all operations of an active side and a standby side of the duplex OMP are stopped, the OS blocks restart the duplex OMP(S36). The OS blocks access the memory units, read processor state information and disk state information before the dual-down stored in the memory units, and set the state of a processor in which the OS blocks belong according to processor state information(S37). The OS blocks perform the standby loading stopped by the dual-down according to a standby loading execution command of an operator(S38).
