<p>There is provided a method of controlling the operation of a multispeed gearbox which is associated with a start-up clutch, at least one power shift clutch, shift clutches for shifting into various speeds of the gearbox and with a control unit for controlling the actuation of at least one of the clutches. The method comprises the step of controlling the coefficient of friction of the at least one clutch during operation of the gearbox.</p> |
