Multi unit filter press - with parallel filtration and backwashing flow

A multi-cell high output filter press comprises a common distribution header supplying all filter elements in parallel, and a washing system which provides a flow both parallel to and perpendicular to the filter cloth surface. Specifically, a single top header feeds all filter frames, a branch header from this feeding into the lower part of all frames for backwashing.
