摘要 PURPOSE: To provide an active matrix type display device and an active matrix type organic EL display device in which no irregularity is generated in a displayed image when a current writing type pixel circuit is used, a high quality black and low luminance gradation displaying is carried out and an image displaying is conducted with no luminance irregularity, and to provide a driving device for the active matrix type display device and organic EL display device. CONSTITUTION: A current bias circuit which generates a current flow having a direction to cancel a writing current for a data line, is provided for every data line in an active matrix type organic EL display device. A circuit having a structure that can convert a current given from a data line 14 via a TFT34 into a voltage by a TFT31, hold the converted voltage in a capacitor 33 via a TFT35 and convert the held voltage of the capacitor 33 back to the current by a TFT36 as the bias current that is given to the data line 14 is used as the current bias circuit. Thus, dispersion in the bias current between data lines is eliminated by the circuit having the above structure.
