PURPOSE: A multi-channel circuit is provided to perform a serial communication with many external devices compared with a predetermined number of channels by a processor having the number of channels. CONSTITUTION: In a multi-channel circuit connected to a processor(10) having a predetermined number of input/output channels, the channel is branched capable of performing a serial communication with many external devices(20) more than the number of input/output channels. A control unit(30) creates a control signal for deciding an on/off of a bifurcation channel being connected to the external device(20). A channel bifurcation unit(40) makes a bifurcation channel of the external device(20) which is a communication status by the control signal be turned on for a serial communication by responding to one-to-one after an one-to-many bifurcation. In addition, the channel bifurcation unit(40) makes a bifurcation channel of the external device(20) which is not a communication status be turned off.
