Beam welding process with edge rounding

摘要

The method concerns welding by means of a beam, according to which a first beam is directed to a fillet (3) between a surface (11) of a first sheet (1) and end face (12) of a second sheet (2). A second beam is directed to the free edge (4) of the second sheet (2). Also claimed are an apparatus for implementation of the method which has a means for producing a second constituent beam located between the beam source and the focussing lens, and a resultant sheet-metal component.
