<p>A round baler (10) is provided with side walls (14) the peripherie of which is not connected to any structure (32) or to the chassis (12). This allows to adjust the distance between them and to increase or decrease the width of a bale forming chamber (24, 26) formed between them. Furthermore flexible bale forming means (18) are trained over rolls (54a, 56a, 58a) carried on the free end of revolving arms and moving along the peripherie of the side walls (14). Thus the arms (54, 56, 58) do not move through the bale forming chamber (24, 26) and are not affected by the crop therein and allow to guide the bale forming means (18) very close to the inner side of the side walls (14). <IMAGE></p> |
